221 Keeping Your Files Safe Hard disk drive passwords - Windows NT 8 Click the User button. A drop-down box appears which lists all available hard drives. When you first buy your machine there should be only one hard drive listed. 9 Click Register. The Register Password dialog box appears, listing all the unregistered hard disk drives available for password assignments. Register Password dialog box 10 Select one or more of the hard disk drives listed by clicking in the box next to the drive. To use the same password for all drives, click the box next to the message "Use the same password for all devices."
