CHAPTER 8 Security This chapter describes how to configure security settings. 8.1 Outgoing IP Filtering By default, the ZyXEL Device allows traffic from the LAN to go to the Internet. Click Advanced Setup > Security > IP Filtering > Outgoing to open the following screen. This screen lists the currently configured filtering entries. Table 28 Advanced Setup > Security > IP Filtering > Outgoing LABEL DESCRIPTION Filter Name This is the name configured to identify the filter entry. Protocol This is the type of packets to which this entry applies. Source Address / Mask This is the IP address and subnet mask of a LAN computer to which this entry applies. Source Port This is the source port for traffic (from the LAN) to which this entry applies. Dest. Address / Mask This is the IP address and subnet mask of a computer on the Internet to which this entry applies. Dest. Port This is the destination port for traffic to which this entry applies.
