Overview You can perform most routine printing tasks from the computer by using the program or printer driver. These two methods are the most convenient way to control the device, and they will override the devicecontrol-panel settings. See the Help file for your program, or, for more information about gaining access to the printer driver, see Open the printer drivers. You can also control the device by changing settings at the device control panel. Use the control panel to gain access to device features that the program or printer driver do not support. You can print a menu map at the device control panel that shows the settings with the currently selected values (see Open the printer drivers).
