6 MEMORY MODE OPERATION ■ Copying memory contents 1 This function copies a memory channel's contents to VFO (or another memory/call channel). This is useful when searching for signals around a memory channel frequency and for recalling the offset frequency, subaudible tone frequency etc. D Memory/call➪VFO qSelect the desired band's (left or right) memory or call channel. ➥ Push the desired band's [M/CALL•MW] several times to select memory mode or call channel, then rotate the same band's [DIAL] to select the desired memory or call channel. wPush and hold [M/CALL•MW] for 2 sec. to copy the selected memory/call channel contents to the VFO. • VFO mode is selected automatically. 2 3 z Push [BAND] to select the desired band as 4 MR/CALL the main band, if necessary. 5 x Select the memory/call channel to be copied. ➥ Push [MR/CALL] to select memory mode, 6 MW then select the desired memory channel 7 via [Y]/[Z] or keypad.
