Network Summary Screen Information Setting Description Network Status For each wireless controller, access point, and client, the following information is displayed: Total Up Down The total number of managed devices that are running properly. The total number of managed devices that cannot be pinged. Critical The wireless controller can ping these managed devices, but either cannot log in or has detected that these device are different from the ones that were configured. Alarms Major The number of managed devices for which the configuration differs from the one that is set on the wireless controller. This situation occurs most likely because the device runs outdated firmware or the wireless controller changed the configuration while the device was down or offline. Wireless Clients For each wireless controller and wireless client, the following information is displayed: Controller The IP address of the wireless controller that manages the access points to which the wireless clients are connected. Open The number of wireless clients that are connected to managed access points using security profiles configured with open mode. WEP The number of wireless clients that are connected to managed access points using security profiles configured with WEP. Description

Network Status

For each wireless controller, access point, and client, the following information is displayed:

Total

The total number of managed devices that are running properly.

Down

The total number of managed devices that cannot be pinged.

Alarms

Critical

The wireless controller can ping these managed devices, but either cannot log in or

Major

The number of managed devices for which the configuration differs from the one
