ProSafe 20-AP Wireless Controller WC7520 Reference Manual To configure advanced rogue access point detection: 1. Select Configuration > Security > Advanced > Rogue AP. The Advanced Rogue AP screen displays: Figure 53. 2. You can import a list of known access points from a file or choose access points as known from a list of neighbor or rogue access points. This feature locates the approximate position of the access point on the floor plan based on the last known data. The wireless controller can support up to 512 total rogue access points from the Known and Unknown lists combined. 3. Configure the settings as explained in Table 26, Advanced Rogue AP Detection. 4. Click Apply to save your settings. Table 26. Advanced Rogue AP Detection Setting Import Known List Merge or Replace Known AP List Unknown AP List Description You can use a text file of SSIDs to populate this screen. See Importing a List of Known Access Points from a File on page 92. • Merge: The current list is maintained, and the access points in the imported list will be added to the approved list and the Known AP List. • Replace: The current list is discarded. Only the access points in the imported list will be shown in the approved list and the Known AP List. Approved access points. To configure advanced rogue access point detection:
1.
Select
Configuration > Security > Advanced > Rogue AP
. The Advanced Rogue AP
screen displays
