ProSafe 20-AP Wireless Controller WC7520 Reference Manual To configure WLAN group assignments: 1. Select Configuration > WLAN Network. The WLAN Group Assignment screen displays: Figure 37. The displayed settings are explained in Table 15, WLAN Group Assignment on page 67. 2. To assign an access point to a group, select the correct group from the Group Name drop-down list. 3. Click Apply to save your settings. Table 15. WLAN Group Assignment Field IP MAC Model Name Building Floor Status Group Name Description The IP address of the access point. The MAC address of the access point. The model of the access point. The name you specified for the access point. The building in which the access point is located. The access point connectivity status. • Connected: This indicates normal operation. • Not Connected: The wireless controller cannot communicate with the access point with the configured IP address. The wireless controller tries to log in to managed access points every 1 minute. If the error is temporary, the status automatically changed to connected. If the error is prolonged, verify the access point's IP address and network connectivity. Select the group name you want the access point to use. See Configuring Access Point Groups on page 65.
