4.5 Front of the Printer 4.5.1 Front Cover Unit 1) Open the front cover unit. 2) Remove the set screws BT4X8 (2 pcs.) from the front inner cover. 3) Release the two hooks at the front edge of the inner cover and lift it up. 4) Release the hinge pin lock lever. 5) Pull the hinge pin slightly to the right to release the hinge arm. Hinge pin lock lever Front inner cover Hook Fig.7-64 6) Remove the front inner cover. 7) Disconnect all the harnesses (4 pcs.) connected to the developer position sensor and developer solenoids. 8) Remove the set screws ST3X6 (2 pcs.) from the front hinge (L). 9) Remove the front hinge (L) from the frame. 10) Sliding the front cover unit to the right, release the hinge pin at the right hand side. 11) Remove the set screws BT4X8 (4 pcs.) to remove the front cover from the assembly base plate. 12) Remove the front cover.
