USER'S GUIDE Radio Interference(220-240 V model only) This printer complies with EN55022(CISPR Publication 22)/Class B. Before this product is used, ensure that you use a double-shielded interface cable with twisted-pair conductors and that is marked "IEEE1284 compliant". The cable must not exceed 1.8 metres in length. IEC 825 Specification (220-240 V model only) This printer is a Class 1 laser product as defined in IEC 825 specifications. The label shown below is attached in countries where required. This printer has a Class 3B Laser Diode which emits invisible laser radiation in the Scanner Unit. The Scanner Unit should not be opened under any circumstances. Caution: Use of controls, adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified in this manual may result in hazardous radiation exposure. The following caution label is attached on the cover of the scanner unit. xvi
