3. Close the drive carrier handle to lock the drive in place. 4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 to install a second drive in the assembly. 5. Attach the locking bar to the front of the drive bay assembly. a. Insert the bottom end of the locking bar (the end without the screw hole) into the slot at the bottom-front of the assembly. b. Pivot the locking bar up so that the recessed hole at the top of the bar aligns with the screw hole at the top of the assembly, and secure the locking bar with the flush-mount screw. 6. Shut down the system, turn off the computer and any attached peripherals, and disconnect the computer and peripherals from their electrical outlets.Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from its electrical outlet. 7. Remove the computer cover and front bezel. See "Removing the Computer Cover" and "Removing the Front Bezel" in Chapter 7. 8. Remove the metal inserts from the external drive bay. 9. Slide the drive bay assembly into the external drive bay until it snaps securely in place. 10.
