CAUTION: Take care not to damage the encoder strip. 13. You will see a ring of dust on the top and bottom rods. Clean the rods with a lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water or with general-purpose industrial cleaner (such as Simple Green). Remove any remaining soap foam with a dry cloth.
