Basics Windows Macintosh 21 Loading Media and Printing Using the Manual Feed The manual feed serves as an additional tray for loading any type of media that ranges in size from 76.2 mm x 127 mm to 216 mm x 356 mm (3″ x 5″ to 8.5″ x 14″). When using thick paper [106 - 165 g/m2 (29 - 44 lb.)] or labels, use the manual feed. 1 Raise the paper support so that the media is not dropped from the output tray. •It is recommended to open the rear cover of the printer to avoid curls or wrinkles if you print a document on thick paper [106 - 165 g/m2 (29 - 44 lb.)] or an envelope.
