Section 8: Music Music App Also known as Google Music, allows you to browse, shop, and playback songs purchased from Google Play Store. The music you choose is automatically stored in your Google Music library and instantly ready to play or download. How to Register for Google Music 1. Login to your Gmail account or create a Gmail account. 2. Use the browser to access http://music.google.com/about/. 3. Touch TRY IT NOW. 4. Sign in to your Google account or create one. 5. Touch OK, got it after reading the One policy, one Google experience or touch Read policies now. 6. If you have not already created this account or downloaded any music the Google Music screen displays blank. 7. If you have already created this account and downloaded music the Google Music screen displays the available music files. Music The Music application displays two ways to add music to the library: 1. Upload songs to Google Music. 2. Copy music to your phone using a USB cable. Once you have downloaded music to My Music folder, follow these procedures: 1. From the Home screen, tap (Applications) ➔ (Music). The Music app searches both your online library and your device's internal storage for music and playlists; this can take from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the amount of new music added since you last opened the application. It then displays a carousel view of your new and recent music, organized by RECENT, ARTISTS, ALBUMS, SONGS, PLAYLISTS, and GENRES. 2.
