Chapter 9 Fault 9.2 Loopback Test You can use this screen to perform a loopback test. Click Fault > Loopback Test to view the following screen. Figure 76 Fault > Loopback Test The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 53 Fault > Loopback Test LABEL DESCRIPTION Device This field displays the name and IP address of each device. Slot This field displays each slot number and type of card for a selected device. Select the appropriate slot. Port Select a port to perform a loopback test on. ONU Select a connected ONU to perform a loopback test between the ONU and the device. Timeout Enter a timeout value between 10 and 60 seconds. This is the amount of time that you are willing to wait for the loopback test to finish. Apply Click Apply to begin the loopback test. Close Click Close to exit this screen. 9.2.1 Perform an Internal Loopback Test Follow the steps below to perform an internal loopback test. 1 On the EPON Manager screen click Fault > Loopback Test. 2 Select a device from the list located on the left-hand side of the screen.
