Chapter 19 EPON Profile Configuration Table 134 EPON Profile Configuration > Add Link Bridging Profile (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION Bridging Type Select how the OLT forwards traffic received through this link. The OLT only forwards upstream frames to the non-PON port(s) and downstream frames to the PON port(s). Options are Simple Bridged, Dedicated Single VLAN, Dedicated Double VLAN, Shared VLAN, Transparent VLAN, Translated VLAN, Prioritized VLAN, Priority Copy Single VLAN, Priority Copy Double VLAN, Priority Copy Shared VLAN, Priority Shared VLAN, Priority Simple Bridged, Transparent Priority Shared VLAN, Transparent Shared VLAN with Broadcast and Double Tagged Shared VLAN. Note: The links destined to the same Ethernet port on an ONU cannot be in the same Priority Shared VLAN or Transparent Priority Shared VLAN. Note: You cannot configure Priority Shared VLAN and Priority Simple Bridged together on the same ONU. Note: If Translated VLAN is configured for a link on the OLT, you cannot set other links to be in Priority Copy Single VLAN, Priority Copy Double VLAN or Priority Copy Shared VLAN mode and use the priority copy function. Member VLAN Index This is the index number of the rule. Active This field displays whether this rule is enabled. Network VID This field displays the VLAN ID number (from 1 to 4094) the OLT adds or replaces the existing VID in the upstream frame through this link. Output CoS If you select Translated VLAN, Priority Simple Bridged, Transparent VLAN or Transparent Shared VLAN with Broadcast in the Bridging Type field, this is the VLAN ID carried in the upstream frame. This field displays the CoS value (from 0 to 7) the OLT adds or replaces the existing CoS value in the upstream frame through this link. Translated VID Translated CoS Set... Priority VLAN If you select Translated VLAN, Priority Simple Bridged, Transparent VLAN or Transparent Shared VLAN with Broadcast in the Bridging Type field, this is the CoS value carried in the upstream frame. This field displays the VLAN ID number (from 1 to 4094) to which the OLT maps the VLAN ID in the upstream frame through this link. This field displays the CoS value (from 0 to 7) to which the OLT maps the CoS field in the upstream frame through this link. Click Set... to edit a rule. This section is available only when you set the Bridging Type to Prioritized VLAN, Priority Shared VLAN, Priority Simple Bridged or Transparent Priority Shared VLAN. Bridging Type
Select how the OLT forwards traffic received through this link. The OLT
only forwards upstream frames to the non-PON port(s) and downstream
frames to the PON port(s).
Options are
Simple Bridged
,
Dedicated Single VLAN
,
Dedicated
Double VLAN
,
Shared VLAN
,
Transparent VLAN
,
Translated
VLAN
,
Prioritized VLAN
,
Priority Copy Single VLAN
,

Double VLAN
,
Priority Copy Shared VLAN
,
Priority Shared VLAN
,
Priority Simple Bridged
,
Transparent Priority Shared VLAN
,
Transparent Shared VLAN with Broadcast
and
Double Tagged

.
Note: The links destined to the same Ethernet port on an ONU
cannot be in the same
Priority Shared VLAN
or
Transparent Priority Shared VLAN
.
Note: You cannot configure
Priority Shared VLAN
and
Priority
Simple Bridged
together on the same ONU.
Note: If
Translated VLAN
is configured for a link on the OLT, you
cannot set other links to be in
Priority Copy Single VLAN
,
Priority Copy Double VLAN
or
Priority Copy Shared
VLAN
mode and use the priority copy function.
Member VLAN
Index
This is the index number of the rule.
Active
This field displays whether this rule is enabled.
Network VID
This field displays the VLAN ID number (from 1 to 4094) the OLT adds
or replaces the existing VID in the upstream frame through this link.
If you select
Translated VLAN
,
Priority Simple Bridged
,
Transparent VLAN
or
Transparent Shared VLAN with Broadcast
in
the
Bridging Type
field, this is the VLAN ID carried in the upstream
frame.
Output CoS
This field displays the CoS value (from 0 to 7) the OLT adds or replaces
the existing CoS value in the upstream frame through this link.
If you select
Translated VLAN
,
Priority Simple Bridged
,
Transparent VLAN
or
Transparent Shared VLAN with Broadcast
in
the
Bridging Type
field, this is the CoS value carried in the upstream
frame.
Translated
VID
This field displays the VLAN ID number (from 1 to 4094) to which the
OLT maps the VLAN ID in the upstream frame through this link.
Translated
CoS
This field displays the CoS value (from 0 to 7) to which the OLT maps
the CoS field in the upstream frame through this link.
