Chapter 5 View Click View > Hardware Status and select a device from the device list located on the left-hand side of the screen. The device hardware status displays. Figure 40 View > Hardware Status The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 25 View > Hardware Status LABEL DESCRIPTION Device Name This field displays the name and IP address of each device that you may use in this screen. Select the appropriate device. Search Device... Click the Search Device... button to find or locate a device (or node). See Section 3.9.3.1 on page 56 for more details. Polling The text box displays how often (in seconds) this screen refreshes. You may change the refresh interval by typing a new number in the text box and then clicking the Apply button. Fan RPM (RPM) A properly functioning fan is an essential component (along with a sufficiently ventilated, cool operating environment) in order for the device to stay within the temperature threshold. Each fan has a sensor that is capable of detecting and reporting if the fan speed falls below the threshold shown. Descr This field displays the fan number. Current Value This field displays this fan's current speed in Revolutions Per Minute (RPM). Max Value This field displays this fan's maximum speed recorded in Revolutions Per Minute (RPM). Min Value This field displays this fan's minimum speed recorded in Revolutions Per Minute (RPM). NetAtlas EPON Manager User's Guide 67
