Chapter 14 Switch Configuration Note that VLAN is unidirectional; it only governs outgoing traffic. 14.10.1 Configuring 802.1Q VLAN Follow the steps below to set the 802.1Q VLAN Type on the switch. 1 In the Device Panel list, select a device and then right-click. 2 Click Configuration > Switch Configuration > VLAN. 3 Select 802.1Q as the VLAN Type and then click Apply. Table 94 Switch Configuration > VLAN: 802.1Q LABEL DESCRIPTION No. This field displays the index number of the table. VID This field displays the ID of the VLAN. Active Yes means the VLAN is active. No means the VLAN is not active. Name This field displays the name of the VLAN. New... Click New... to create a new VLAN.
