Chapter 3 EPON Manager 3.7.1.1 Device Information - SNMP Information To display the SNMP information screen click the SNMP Info tab on the Device Information screen. See Section 3.7.1 on page 50 for information on how to access the Device Information screen. Figure 23 Device Information - SNMP Information The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 20 Device Information - SNMP Information LABEL DESCRIPTION Get Community This is the password for the incoming Get- and GetNext- requests from the management station. Set Community The Get Community string is only used by SNMP managers using SNMP version 2c or lower. This is the password for incoming Set- requests from the management station. Trap Community SNMP Trap Destination Close The Set Community string is only used by SNMP managers using SNMP version 2c or lower. This is the password sent with each trap to the SNMP manager. The Trap Community string is only used by SNMP managers using SNMP version 2c or lower. These fields display where the EMS sends the SNMP traps to.
