Chapter 15 Multicast Configuration Table 104 Multicast Configuration > EPON Multicast VLAN (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION Name This field displays the descriptive name for this setting. Service VLAN ID This field displays the VLAN ID of the multicast VLAN. Service VLAN Priority This field displays the priority level of the multicast VLAN. Unknown This field displays whether the OLT discards the frame(s) (Denied) or Downstream sends the frame(s) to all ports (Allowed) when receiving an unknown Multicast Frame downstream multicast frame. New... Click New... to create a new entry. Modify... Click Modify... to change the settings of the selected MVLAN. Delete Click Delete to remove the selected MVLAN. Multicast Group This table displays the multicast group settings for the selected EPON multicast VLAN. Index This field displays the index number of the multicast address entry. Active This field displays whether the entry is active or not Start IP This field displays the starting IP address for a range of multicast IP addresses that you want to belong to this multicast VLAN. End IP This field displays the ending IP address for a range of multicast IP addresses that you want to belong to this multicast VLAN. Mode This field displays whether the OLT prohibits the ports from joining the specified multicast group (Denied) or admits the ports to join the specified multicast group (Allowed). Modify... Click Modify... to change the settings of the selected entry. Copy to... Click the Copy to.. button to copy the configuration from the device that you are currently configuring to other device(s) of the same model. Close Click Close to exit the screen. 15.5.1 Creating a New Multicast VLAN Follow the steps below to create a new multicast VLAN. 1 In the EPON Multicast VLAN screen, click New... under Multicast VLAN.
