Chapter 17 RMON Configuration 17.3 The Event Screen Use the Event screen to configure the actions that a device takes when an alarm is triggered. To open this screen, right-click on the OLT in the Device List Panel, and click Configuration > RMON Configuration > Event. Then, select the device that you want to configure. Figure 151 RMON Configuration > Event. The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 116 RMON Configuration > Event LABEL DESCRIPTION Index This field displays an event index number. Active This field display whether an event is enabled (Yes) or not (No). Type This field displays the event type (none, log, trap or log&trap). Community This field displays the community (or password). Description This field displays a description of the event. Owner Enter a descriptive name of the application that creates this entry. New... Click this to add a new event configuration. Modify... Click this to change the settings of the selected event configuration. Delete Click this to remove the selected event configuration. Detail... Click this to view the details of the selected event configuration. Copy to... Click the Copy to.. button to copy the configuration from the device that you are currently configuring to other device(s) of the same model.
