Chapter 15 Multicast Configuration 3 A screen displays as shown. The Index field displays the index number of this entry. Select Active to enable this multicast group setting. Figure 139 Multicast Configuration > EPON Multicast VLAN: Modify Group 4 In the Start IP Address field, enter the starting IP multicast address of the multicast group in dotted decimal notation. 5 In the End IP Address field, enter the ending IP multicast address of the multicast group in dotted decimal notation. 6 Enter the same IP address as the Start IP Address field if you want to configure only one IP address for a multicast group. 7 In the Mode field, select Allowed to admit the ports to join the specified multicast group. Otherwise, select Denied to prohibit the ports from joining this multicast group. 8 Click OK to save the settings and close this screen. Otherwise, click Cancel to discard the settings and close this screen. 9 A screen displays showing the configuration result. Click Close to exit the screen. 15.6 IGMP Snooping VLAN Use this screen to set which VLANs the switch performs IGMP snooping upon.
