Chapter 2 Main Screen Table 4 Tools > User Management (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION Access Privilege This section lists what kind of access this user account has to each function in the EMS. The list is organized by menu item in the EPON Manager. Each user account has one of three kinds of access to each function: NoAccess, ReadOnly, or ReadWrite. New Click this to create a new user account. Modify Select a user account in the User List section, and click this to edit any of the settings. Delete Select a user account in the User List section, and click this to remove the account. Access Privilege Template... Click this if you want to create or maintain templates for user accounts. You can apply a template to a user account when you create it or edit it. Close Click Close to exit this screen. 2.2.1 User Screens Use these screens to configure specific privileges for a user account. • New User This screen appears when you create a new user account. To open this screen, click Tools > User Management > New. This screen appears in Figure 5 on page 27. • Modify User This screen appears when you edit an existing user account. To open this screen, click Tools > User Management. Then, select an existing user account, and click Modify. This screen is similar to Figure 5 on page 27, but the User Name is read-only. • Modify User (for admin account) This screen appears when you edit the admin account.
