Chapter 14 Switch Configuration 14.4 Broadcast Storm Control The following screen lets you limit the number of broadcast, multicast and destination lookup failure (DLF) packets the switch receives per second on the ports. Figure 115 Switch Configuration > Broadcast Storm Control The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 85 Switch Configuration > Broadcast Storm Control LABEL DESCRIPTION Enable Select this to activate traffic storm control on the switch. Broadcast storm control Apply Click Apply to save the changes in this section. Copy to... Click the Copy to.. button to copy the configuration from the device that you are currently configuring to other device(s) of the same model. Port List Select a port that you want to configure in this screen. Broadcast (pkt/ Select this option and specify how many broadcast packets the port sec) receives per second. Multicast (pkt/ Select this option and specify how many multicast packets the port sec) receives per second. DLF (pkt/sec) Select this option and specify how many destination lookup failure (DLF) packets the port receives per second. Apply Click Apply to save the changes in this section.
