Chapter 20 Advanced Configuration To open the following screen, right-click on the OLT in the Device List Panel, and click Configuration > Advanced Configuration > Loop Guard. Then select a device and the port to which you want to apply this configuration. Figure 191 Advanced Configuration > Loop Guard The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 155 Advanced Configuration > Loop Guard LABEL DESCRIPTION Enable Loop Guard Select this option to enable loop guard on the OLT. Apply Copy to... Port List Enable Loop Guard The OLT generates syslog, internal log messages as well as SNMP traps when it shuts down a port via the loop guard feature. Click Apply to save the changes in this section. Click the Copy to.. button to copy the configuration from the device that you are currently configuring to other device(s) of the same model. Select a port that you want to configure in this screen. Select this check box to enable the loop guard feature on this port. The OLT sends probe packets from this port to check if the switch it is connected to is in loop state. If the switch that this port is connected is in loop state the OLT will shut down this port. Apply Clear this check box to disable the loop guard feature. Click Apply to save your changes in this section. NetAtlas EPON Manager User's Guide 305
