Chapter 7 Provisioning Table 41 Provisioning > Multicast Setting Provisioning (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION Max Multicast Group Enable This field shows whether the device limits the number of multicast groups this port is allowed to join (v) or not (x). Max Multicast Group Number IGMP Filter Profile Querier Mode Close Once a port is registered in the specified number of multicast groups, any new IGMP join report frame(s) is dropped on this port. This field displays the number of multicast groups this port is allowed to join. This field displays the name of the IGMP filtering profile to use for this port. This field displays the IGMP query mode for this port. Click Close to exit the screen. If you have added any templates, make sure you click Apply To Devices ... to save the changes to the devices first. 7.3.1 Applying a Multicast Setting Template Follow the steps below to apply a multicast setting template to a device. 1 Click Provisioning > Multicast Setting Provisioning to display the screen as shown. 2 Select the template you want to use from the Template Name list and click Apply To Devices ... to apply the selected template.
