Chapter 14 Switch Configuration To open the Port Security screen, right-click on the OLT in the Device List Panel, and click Configuration > Switch Configuration > Port Security. Then select a device and the port to which you want to apply this configuration. Figure 128 Switch Configuration > Port Security The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 99 Switch Configuration > Port Security TABLE DESCRIPTION Enable Port Security Select this check box to enable the port security feature on the device. Apply Click Apply to save the changes in this section. Copy to... Click the Copy to.. button to copy the configuration from the device that you are currently configuring to other device(s) of the same model. Port List Select a port that you want to configure in this screen. Enable Port Security Select this check box to enable the port security feature on the selected port. Enable Address Learning MAC address learning reduces outgoing broadcast traffic. For MAC address learning to occur on a port, the port itself must be active with address learning enabled.
