Chapter 19 EPON Profile Configuration Table 129 EPON Profile Configuration > Add ONU Profile (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION Enable Select whether to activate port-based VLAN on the ONU. Index This field displays the number of the port on the ONU. PVID This field displays the port's VLAN ID (between 1 and 4094). A VLAN tag reflecting the PVID is inserted in the frame forwarded through the port. CoS Forwarding Ports OK Cancel Note: The ports must be in the same VLAN group to communicate with each other. This field displays the CoS value the ONU adds to the frames transmitted on the port. This field displays the outgoing port(s) through which traffic from the port (in the Index field) is allowed to go. To allow two ports to talk to each other, you must define the outgoing port for both ports. Click OK to save the settings and close this screen. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close this screen. 19.1.2.1 Configuring a Logical Link Select an entry under Logical Link Setup and click the Set... button in the Add ONU Profile screen to display the following screen.
