Chapter 13 System Configuration 13.5 Service Access Control Service Access Control allows you to decide what services you may use to access the OLT. You may also configure "trusted computer(s)" for each service in the Remote Mgmt screen. To open the Service Access Control screen, right-click on an OLT in the Device List Panel, and click Configuration > System Configuration > Service Access Control. Figure 107 System Configuration > Service Access Control The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 77 System Configuration > Service Access Control LABEL DESCRIPTION Services Services you may use to access the device are listed here. Active Select this option for the corresponding services that you want to allow to access the device. Service Port You may change the default service port by typing the new port number in the Service Port field. If you change the default port number then you will have to let the users of that service know the new port number. Timeout (min) Type how many minutes a management session (HTTP, via the web configurator) can be left idle before the session times out. After it times out you have to log in with your password again. Very long idle timeouts may have security risks. Apply Click Apply to save the changes to the device.
