Chapter 20 Advanced Configuration The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 153 Advanced Configuration > Static MAC Forward > New System Static MAC Forward LABEL DESCRIPTION Active Select this check box to activate your rule. You may temporarily deactivate a rule without deleting it by clearing this check box. MAC Enter the MAC address in valid MAC address format, that is, six hexadecimal character pairs. Static MAC addresses do not age out. VID Enter the VLAN group identification number. Port Select a port where the MAC address entered in the previous field will be automatically forwarded. OK Click OK to save the settings. Close Click Close to exit the screen. All unsaved settings will be lost. 20.5.2 Configuring an EPON Static MAC Address Entry To add a new rule, click New... under Port Setting in the Static MAC Forward screen. To change the settings of a rule, select a rule and click Modify... under Port Setting in the Static MAC Forward screen.
