Chapter 2 Main Screen Use this screen to schedule regular backups for the EMS databases. To open this screen, click Tools > Database Management > Scheduled Backup Configuration. Figure 14 Tools > Database Management > Scheduled Backup Configuration The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 14 Tools > Database Management > Scheduled Backup Configuration LABEL DESCRIPTION Backup Schedule Select how often to schedule backups for database files, starting from the specified date and time. Scheduled backups can be performed Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Select No Backup to disable scheduled backups. Time of Day This field is enabled if you select Daily. Select or type the starting time each day to begin backups for the EMS. Day of Week This field is enabled if you select Weekly. Select or type the day on which to back up the EMS. Day of Month This field is enabled if you select Monthly. Select or type the day on which to back up the EMS. Backup Directory Type the directory on your computer in which you want to backup the database files, or click Browse to locate it. Auto Cleanup Backup Files The fields below are available when you select to enable scheduled backups. Enable Select the check box to delete all EMS backup database files on your computer after the number of days you configured below. Keep the backup files about Specify how many days (from 0 to 999) the backup files remain on your computer before they are deleted. 0 means the backup files will not be deleted.
