Chapter 1 Introducing the EMS This does not clear the database. So if you re-install the EMS on the same computer, the logs, subscriber and login account information, and EMS configuration stored in the database are still available. Do the following to unstall the EMS and re-install it on another computer: • To keep the EMS's logs, subscriber and login account information, and EMS configuration, see Section 2.4.1 on page 37 for how to backup the database. • Use the following command to uninstall the EMS Server: /opt/GEPONEMS/ uninstall • Contact your local customer support for a new authentication code. Then go to www.myzyxel.com and enter it to update your EMS registration information. • Install the EMS on the other computer. See the Quick Start Guide for installation proceudres. • If you backed up the database, see Section 2.4.1 on page 37 to restore it. 22 NetAtlas EPON Manager User's Guide
