Table 30 View > Spanning Tree Protocol Status:MSTP LABEL DESCRIPTION Device List This field displays the name and IP address of each device that you may access in this screen. Select the appropriate device. Search Device... Click the Search Device... button to find or locate a device (or node). See Section 3.9.3.1 on page 56 for more details. Refresh Click this to update the screen. Spanning Tree This field displays the STP mode on this device. Protocol CST This section describes the Common Spanning Tree settings. Bridge ID This is the unique identifier for this bridge, consisting of bridge priority plus MAC address. Hello Time (sec) This is the time interval (in seconds) at which the root switch transmits a configuration message. Port ID This is the priority and number of the port on the device through which this device must communicate with the root of the Spanning Tree. Forward Delay This is the time (in seconds) the root switch will wait before changing (sec) states (that is, listening to learning to forwarding). Revision Number This field displays the revision number for this MST region. Path Cost This is the path cost from the root port on this device to the root switch.
