Table 20-1. show spanning-tree msti guard Command Information Field Sts Guard Type BPDU Filter Description Port state: root-inconsistent (INCON Root), forwarding (FWD), listening (LIS), blocking (BLK), or shut down (EDS Shut) Type of STP guard configured (Root or BPDU guard) BPDU filter enabled (Yes) or BPDU filter disabled (No) spanning-tree Enable the multiple spanning tree protocol on the interface. Syntax spanning-tree To disable the multiple spanning tree protocol on the interface, use the no spanning-tree command. Parameters spanning-tree Enter the keyword spanning-tree to enable the MSTP on the interface. Syntax spanning-tree msti instance {cost cost | priority priority} Parameters msti instance cost cost priority priority Enter the MST instance number. Range: 0 to 4094. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword cost followed by the port cost value. Range: 1 to 200000 Defaults: • 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface = 1400 • 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface = 2000 • Port Channel interface with one 10-Gigabit Ethernet = 2000 • Port Channel with two 10-Gigabit Ethernet = 1800 • Port Channel with two 100-Mbps Ethernet = 180000 Enter keyword priority followed by a value in increments of 16 as the priority.
