www.dell.com | support.dell.com Command Modes Command History Related Commands CONFIGURATION RSTP (conf-rstp) Version 8.3.16.1 Introduced on MXL 10/40GbE Switch IO Module protocol spanning-tree rstp Enters rapid spanning tree mode debug spanning-tree rstp Enable debugging of RSTP and view information on the protocol. Syntax debug spanning-tree rstp [all | bpdu interface {in | out} | events] Parameters To disable debugging, use the no debug spanning-tree rstp command. all bpdu interface {in | out} events (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword all to debug all spanning tree operations. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword bpdu to debug Bridge Protocol Data Units. (OPTIONAL) Enter the interface keyword along with the type slot/port of the interface you want displayed. Type slot/port options are the following: • For a Port Channel interface, enter the keyword port-channel followed by a number: Range: 1 to 128 • For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information. • For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE followed by the slot/port information. Optionally, enter an in or out parameter in conjunction with the optional interface: • For Receive, enter in • For Transmit, enter out (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword events to debug RSTP events.
