35 System Time and Date Overview The commands in this chapter configure time values on the system, either using the Dell Force10 operating software (FTOS), the hardware, or using the network time protocol (NTP). With NTP, the switch can act only as a client to an NTP clock host. For more information, refer to the "Network Time Protocol" section of the Management chapter in the FTOS Configuration Guide.
