36 Uplink Failure Detection (UFD) Overview Uplink failure detection (UFD) provides detection of the loss of upstream connectivity and, if used with network interface controller (NIC) teaming, automatic recovery from a failed link. Commands The UFD commands described in this chapter are: • clear ufd-disable • debug uplink-state-group • description • downstream • downstream auto-recover • downstream disable links • enable • show running-config uplink-state-group • show uplink-state-group • uplink-state-group • upstream clear ufd-disable Re-enable one or more downstream interfaces on the switch/router that are in a UFD-disabled error state so that an interface can send and receive traffic.
