First, position the plates so that the edges of the media are in the centers of the round holes. Next, adjust the position so that the white line is visible in the square window and push the plates down to lock them in place and keep them from lifting. Important: ❏ Do not use the media holding plates with media that is more than 0.4 mm (0.02 inch) thick. The media holding plates could touch and damage the print head. ❏ Move the media holding plates to the left and right edges of the platen when they are not in use. ❏ Do not use the media holding plates if the sides of the printed media are smudged or torn. ❏ Leave left and right margins of over 10 mm (0.39 inch) when using the media holding plates. Important:
Do not use the media holding plates with media that is more than 0.4 mm (0.02 inch)
