Managing System Files Downloading System Files There are two types of files, firmware files and configuration files. The firmware files manage the device, and the configuration files configure the device for transmissions. Only one type of download can be performed at any one time. To download a file: 1. Click System > File Management > File Download. The File Download page opens: File Download The File Download page contains the following options for file download: ❏ Firmware Download ❏ Configuration Download The Firmware Download section contains the following fields: ❏ Firmware Download - Indicates that the download is for firmware. If Firmware Download is selected, the Configuration Download fields are grayed out. ❏ TFTP Server IP Address - Specifies the TFTP Server IP Address from which the files are downloaded. ❏ Source File Name - Specifies the file to be downloaded. ❏ Destination File Name - Specifies the destination file type to which to the file is downloaded. The possible field values are: ◆ Software Image - Downloads the Image file. ◆ Boot Code - Downloads the Boot file. The Configuration Download section contains the following fields: ❏ Configuration Download - Indicates that the download is for configuration files.
