Using the MFP control panel and menus Administration Use the Administration menu to set paper size, source, security functions, network setup, other settings involving print media, and to print reports. This menu contains additional levels of submenus, menu items, and values. To access the Administration menu, press the Administration button, which has a key icon on it. Paper Menu Use the Paper Menu to define the paper loaded in each tray and the default paper source. Values marked by an asterisk (*) are the factory default settings. Paper Menu Menu item Paper Source Purpose To identify the default print media source. Values and descriptions Tray (Tray 1*) MP Feeder Env Feeder Manual Paper Manual Env Only installed sources are shown on the control panel. If you loaded the same size and type of paper in two paper sources (and the Paper Size and Paper Type menu items are correctly set), the trays are automatically linked. When one paper source is empty, paper automatically feeds from the next linked source. Menus 164
