Using the MFP control panel and menus Defaults Menu - Copy Settings(continued) Menu item Purpose Values and descriptions Collate To keep the pages of a print On* job stacked in sequence when making multiple copies of the job. Copies the entire job the number of times specified. For example, if you set Copies to 2 and have three pages to copy, the MFP output is page 1, page 2, page 3, page 1, page 2, page 3. Off Copies each page of a job the number of times specified. For example, if you set Copies to 2 and have three pages to copy, the MFP output is page 1, page 1, page 2, page 2, page 3, page 3. Original Size Provides a list of possible scanner sizes to select from to specify the size of your original copy document. • Letter* • Legal • Executive • Folio • Statement • A4* • A5 • JIS B5 (* Denotes a country/region-specific factory default value) Copy To Source Provides a list of possible • Tray 1* print media sources to send • MP Feeder the copy job to for printing. • Tray 2 Tray 2 is not listed as a selection in the values list unless an optional 250- or 500-sheet drawer is installed. Darkness Specifies the level of 1-9 (5*) darkness for the copy job. Number of Copies Specifies the number of copies for the copy job. 1-999 (1*) Overlay Specifies the selection for overlay text to print on each page of the copy job. The overlay looks similar to the following on a page: Confidential Copy Draft Urgent Custom Off* Note: The Custom value is not shown unless text is entered into the Custom Overlay text field from the Web page. The text used for the overlay is what you entered on the Web page, but you still select Custom in the menu. Confidential Allow priority Lets you interrupt a On* copies network print job, so you can use the MFP as a Off copier to copy a page or document. Interrupts the print job at the next page. Interrupts the print job at the next job boundary which means between incoming individual print jobs. Menus 172
