Understanding the MFP control panel messages Message What this message means What you can do Insufficient resources. Try again when the system is idle. System resources are dedicated to finishing other jobs, so no new jobs can be set up. Wait for all jobs to finish processing. Delete print and hold jobs. Install additional memory. Invalid password The password entered does not match the password protecting administrative functions. Re-enter the password. See your support person. Invalid PIN for user name. The Personal Identification Number (PIN) you entered does not match the user name you selected. After three seconds, the screen returns to the list of user names. Reselect your user name and enter the correct PIN. For more information, see Entering a PIN. Invalid Standard Network Code The code in an internal print server is not valid. The MFP cannot receive and process jobs until valid code is programmed into the internal print server. Download valid code to the MFP internal print server. No button actions are possible while this message is displayed. You can download network code while this message is displayed.
