CHAPTER 30 CNM System Setting Use these screens to configure Vantage CNM server settings such as servers configuration, system maintenance, create and define device owner, software upgrade, license management, and about. 30.1 Servers Configuration You can configure these servers as you install Vantage CNM (in the installation wizard) or after you install it in this screen. Configure the Vantage CNM public IP server address, FTP server (for firmware upload), and mail server (for Vantage CNM notifications and reports) in this screen. These IP addresses will be the same as the Vantage CNM server computer if they are all on the same computer. The FTP server is used for file transfers, such as firmware upgrade. The SMTP server is used for e-mail notifications. You should know each server's IP address, username and password. File transfers (FTP) and e-mail notifications (SMTP) will not work in Vantage CNM if these are incorrectly configured. To open this screen, click CNM System Setting in the menu bar and then click Configuration > Servers > Configuration in the navigation panel. Vantage CNM User's Guide 561
