4062 After image Leading edge Trailing edge The ghost appears on the media which, may be the image from the previous page or part of the page currently printing. Step 1 Check Check the media condition. Load new, dry, recommended media. Re-print the defective image. Does the error continue? Yes Go to step 2. No Problem solved. 2 Check the heat roll and pressure roll. Remove the fuser unit assembly. CAUTION: : Allow the fuser unit assembly to cool down. Replace the fuser unit assembly. Go to "Fuser unit assembly removal (T650, T652, T654)" on page 4-23. Go to step 4. Is there contamination or cracks on the heat roll and/or pressure roll? 3 Perform a print test. Does the problem remain? Contact next highest level of tech support. Problem solved. Diagnostic information 2-171
