6. Loosen the right roll core holder fixing screw and remove the roll core holder from the roll. 7. Lower the roll onto the roll support. Removing the Take-up Roll (Using the Optional Heavy Roll Auto Take-up Reel) This section explains how to remove media from the take-up reel using a lifter. The following types of lifter can be used: ❏ Fork or platform thickness: 28 mm (1.1 inch) or less. ❏ Fork or platform can be lowered to approx.190 mm (7.5 inches) from the floor. c Caution: Because the media is heavy, it should not be carried by one person. Using a lifter is recommended when handling media that is 40 kg (88 lb) or heavier. Follow the instructions in the manual when loading media or roll cores or removing media from the take-up roll.
