Media Adjust This menu is used to adjust media when Auto Media Adjust cannot be used or when reconfiguring media settings is required due to a change in printing conditions after saving the media settings. In this menu, perform Feed Adjustment and Head Alignment individually. ❏ Media adjustment when Auto Media Adjust cannot be used When you cannot adjust media using Auto Media Adjust or when banding or graininess is detected in printing results even after Auto Media Adjust has been performed, select Feed Adjustment - Manual and Head Alignment - Standard (Manual) to take appropriate actions. ❏ Media adjustment when changing printing conditions after saving media settings After saving media settings, select Feed Adjustment - Auto in any of the following situations: ❏ The Media Tension or Media Suction setting has been changed in Advanced Settings ❏ Counterweights have been attached to or detached from the tensioner ❏ The standard media unit and the optional heavy roll media system have been switched ❏ The configuration of pressure rollers has been changed (S70675, S50675) When Platen Gap has been changed, select Head Alignment - Standard (Auto) in this menu. However, if the setting value is changed to 2.5, auto adjustment becomes unavailable. Perform Standard (Manual).
