If your computer needs to be serviced, please provide the servicer with the Aptiva Product Recovery disc that came with your computer. This will help the servicer to complete the required service. The information in the following three steps will provide the IBM PC HelpCenter technical support representative with valuable information that will assist him/her when handling your call. It will also help reduce the amount of time it takes to diagnose problems and answer questions. 1 Register your computer with the online IBM Registration form that came installed on your computer. 2 If you are able to run the PC Doctor diagnostics, locate the log file (the filetype will be named .log) and have it available for the technical support representative to review. 3 If you have not already done so, you will be required to register your computer the first time you contact IBM.
