4 Command Line Interface The access mode shown in the following tables is indicated by these abbreviations: ACL (Access Control List Configuration) CM (Class Map Configuration) GC (Global Configuration) IC (Interface Configuration) LC (Line Configuration) MST (Multiple Spanning Tree) NE (Normal Exec) PE (Privileged Exec) PM (Policy Map Configuration) VC (VLAN Database Configuration) Line Commands You can access the onboard configuration program by attaching a VT100 compatible device to the server's serial port. These commands are used to set communication parameters for the serial port or Telnet (i.e., a virtual terminal).
