4 System Management Commands sntp poll This command sets the interval between sending time requests when the switch is set to SNTP client mode. Use the no form to restore to the default. Syntax sntp poll seconds no sntp poll seconds - Interval between time requests. (Range: 16-16384 seconds) Default Setting 16 seconds Command Mode Global Configuration Example Console(config)#sntp poll 60 Console(config)# Related Commands sntp client (4-53) show sntp This command displays the current time and configuration settings for the SNTP client, and indicates whether or not the local time has been properly updated. Command Mode Normal Exec, Privileged Exec Command Usage This command displays the current time, the poll interval used for sending time synchronization requests, and the current SNTP mode (i.e., unicast).
