4 Spanning Tree Commands revision This command configures the revision number for this multiple spanning tree configuration of this switch. Use the no form to restore the default. Syntax revision number number - Revision number of the spanning tree. (Range: 0-65535) Default Setting 0 Command Mode MST Configuration Command Usage The MST region name (page 4-152) and revision number are used to designate a unique MST region. A bridge (i.e., spanning-tree compliant device such as this switch) can only belong to one MST region. And all bridges in the same region must be configured with the same MST instances.
