4 Command Line Interface Address Table Commands These commands are used to configure the address table for filtering specified addresses, displaying current entries, clearing the table, or setting the aging time. Command mac-address-table static clear mac-address-table dynamic show mac-address-table mac-address-table aging-time show mac-address-table aging-time Table 4-51 Address Table Commands Function Mode Maps a static address to a port in a VLAN GC Removes any learned entries from the forwarding database PE Displays entries in the bridge-forwarding database PE Sets the aging time of the address table GC Shows the aging time for the address table PE Page 4-140 4-141 4-141 4-142 4-143 mac-address-table static This command maps a static address to a destination port in a VLAN. Use the no form to remove an address. Syntax mac-address-table static mac-address interface interface vlan vlan-id [action] no mac-address-table static mac-address vlan vlan-id • mac-address - MAC address. • interface • ethernet unit/port - unit - Stack unit. (Range: Unit 1) - port - Port number. (Range: 1-26) • port-channel channel-id (Range: 1-4) • vlan-id - VLAN ID (Range: 1-4094) • action - - delete-on-reset - Assignment lasts until the switch is reset. - permanent - Assignment is permanent.
